Installation meeting of George Harradon Mark Lodge |
Thursday 17th November was a very wet night in Liverpool for George Harradon Mark Lodge No 956 Installation meeting. However, someone did get to park their Maserati just outside the front door of the Masonic Hall. I will not mention any names, because he was the principal guest. |
Giles Berkley and Roger Boyle |
With all offices in place the Worshipful Master, WBro Roger Boyle opened the lodge. WBro Roy Hedges, PrAGDC then announced that the WBro Giles Berkley, PGJD, Assistant Provincial Grand Master sought entry. Once the procession had entered and being greeted, this being the Lodge’s first meeting since September a mark of respect for HM Queen Elizabeth 11 (1926 – 2022) was observed by the brethren. |
With the salutations and lodges business dealt with, the lodge DC, WBro Derek Gaskell stood and carried out the Proclamation Ceremony for WBro Roger Boyle who was staying in the chair for a second year. WBro Boyle then appointed his offices. |
Almost everyone |
The Warden’s address was given in fine form by VWBro Fred Hargreaves. WBro Derek Gaskell gave the address to the Overseers. Then the highlight of the night, WBro Giles Berkley’s address to the brethren; which he always does so well. |
At the festive board, the APGM stressed the importance of the Master and member’s attendance at the Provincial Meeting, which is to be held on 27th April 2023 at Blackpool. We wish WBro Boyle and George Harradon Mark Lodge a happy and successful year. |
